Biotin, also known as vitamin H or vitamin B8, is the ‘key vitamin’ for healthy skin and hair. It plays an important role in (cell) growth, cell metabolism and repair processes of the skin, especially because it is essential for the production of fatty acids in the skin. Without these fatty acids, the skin cells simply cannot function properly; which will inevitably lead to dry, flaky, irritated skin and other skin abnormalities. Biotin is therefore often used to treat dermatitis, eczema and various other skin problems.

The Biotin ampoules are therefore a very powerful and targeted treatment for skin that is out of balance (sensitive, dry, flaky, irritated). The ampoules stimulate the production of essential fatty acids, which ensures restoration of the fat/moisture balance (skin barrier).
