These ampoules are a good alternative for those considering botox but do not want to lose the full range of facial expressions and/or are not fans of the idea of having a toxic substance injected. The ampoules contain 2 peptides (Argireline and Leuphasylä) whose effect is the same as botox: they inhibit muscle contraction, which relaxes existing expression lines and prevents the formation of new (expression) lines. Unlike botox, Argireline does not completely paralyze the muscles, but it does ensure a weakened, softer facial expression and relaxation of existing lines and wrinkles. The peptide Leuphasyl also weakens muscle contractions. It reduces the sensitivity of the nerve endings, which causes the nerves to send fewer signals to the facial muscles and as a result they contract less often and less powerfully. Leuphasyl is a substance naturally occurring in the body and therefore safe.
